Unconditional love is an oxymoron or using the words together is unnecessary at best. To indeed love someone or something, unconditional love is the only love there is. Love is absolute; love is complete, total, authentic, and honest. Love is timeless, endless, and omnipotent.
Without even trying unconditional love connotes the presence, or the possibility of conditional love and those two words diametrically oppose each other. Loving conditionally is not love, no matter how many belief systems you have in place that attempt to support that into existence.
I bring this up because I believe that the act and expression of Self Love will transform this planet. I believe that the act of loving one’s self brings about a monumental change inside that echoes outward for generations to come. For when you love yourself, you love every aspect of yourself. You accept all parts of yourself, even the parts that you want to see change, alter, or drop away completely. Love is still there even in the face of those things. Love is the best foundation for change.
Sure, there are qualities or aspects about you that you like but what about those qualities that you consider your shadow side? What about those things that you consider to be dark, unlikeable, hateful, ugly or down-right mean?
Self Love is a love that has no conditions, it accepts, and it realizes that there is nothing to forgive. Self Love can see through the fog of life and look at the big picture. Self Love is authentic because it is genuine and permanent, even in the face of the ever changing moment of Now.
Begin to see the omnipotence of Self Love and how it can change, transform, or transmute anything. Let us face facts, you can love something into existence, but you can only beat something into submission.
The wars are being fought between nations are nothing more than an expression of the internal wars that happen inside of us and are magnified expressions of that occurrence. As the fighting stops inside of you there will be no outward expression of judgment or hate. When the internal advisory is transformed with self love, there will be no affect, no external expressions of me against you.
If you sincerely want to see peaceful changes in the population of the world, become the peace that you want to see. That includes recognizing when you are judging, and stop. Begin by recognizing when you are not accepting, and accept. Begin to be aware of the times, and places that you are in an old pattern of ‘conditional love,’ and allow the Awareness to begin to open you up to ‘unconditional love.’ (Yes, I know I used the words, but only for the purpose of language and understanding.) LOVE is omnipotent, and it will change you. As LOVE changes you, you will see change in the world.
Yesterday is done and tomorrow is not here yet. Right now, YOU ARE NOW, and NOW is the best time to start.
